Talk about killer grooves... :o

Can anyone scribe the intro to "Teacher", by Jethro Tull?

Hmmm.....

This always confuses me but couldn't the opening groove be counted where the HH is in quarters, bass drum on eighth notes and the snare drum falls on 3 (half time feel?).  Then the following section would still have the HH on quarter notes but the snare would fall on 2 & 4 ?
