Model number is LM405. ;D
Title: 6.5X14 Acrolite Post by: redchapterjubilee on August 21, 2004, 03:41 PM There was also a keystone 6.5" deep Acrolite up earlier this week but was removed within hours. The guy sold it off-auction for $800. He told me that Ludwig could only account for two dozen keystone Acros ever made and all were built for endorsers.

However, do these sound the same as the keystone blacros? It has been well established that many of the 70's Acros and Blacros were a little "mushy" sounding. Aso, virtually everyone agrees that the re-issue BB's and Supras are lacking a little magic. So, one has to wonder. Has Mr A done a comparison of the 5" models? Title: 6.5X14 Acrolite Post by: jameswalker on September 26, 2004, 01:00 AM keystone blacros? The blacro came long after the keystone. '60s: keystone '70s: blue/olive badge The "Black Galaxy" Acrolite (a.k.a. the blacrolite) is the contemporary version of the instrument. Personally, I can hear a clear difference between it and my keystone Acro, but I'm not sure how to put it into words. |
