Title: mallet Instrument FRAMES
Post by: PremierMan on August 30, 2004, 09:57 AM
while we are on the subject, I have noticed quite a difference in frames on Mallet (well, I have mainly been looking at Vibe) instruments

nobody wants a creaky set up

I have seen the "Jarvis Mallet mover"

Adams has "Voyager" and "Endurnace" frames

Musser has the "All terrain" / "Concert" and "Motocart" frames

and the Piper model has even a different set up

any particular things to look for when considering frames ?

I'll specifically need to wheel the instrument in and out of gigs, so that does make a difference

TIA

Moto-Cart type frames are generally for Drum Corps/ Marching Band type stuff--where they are literally going "moto-cross".  These will works for everyday too, but might look a bit bulky on a small jazz stage!
