Hey Mark-  yeah, I think the Turkish are great sounding cymbals.   I have fairly new 8"  splash and 16" and 17" classic crashes.

My local distributor did a big clearance on them post to my purchases and let them go for insanely low prices.  Seems people are just too afraid to move away from their Sabian's here in Eastern Canada (not far to the Sabian factory in Meductic, New Brunswick from here).

I like the Turkish stuff a lot though...  too bad more players wouldn't give them a chance....likewise to Bosphorus cymbals -I love those suckers.    That being said, these days I stick with my Zildjians.....like them a lot and also maybe I'm hung up on uniformity to some degree  -I still don't have a complete Turkish set-up.   Used what I have in the studio while doing a CD recently though...they rocked.  The producer loved 'em too.

thanks peter ... i may end up with the bosphorus just because of availabilities sake, but id like to try the turkish studio line for sure.   although on another board it was mentioned (and seconded) that they tend to be heavy for what they are.
