Title: Phil Collins Post by: groovin on June 27, 2005, 12:10 PM I was wondering if anyone could tell if "Two Hearts"by Phil collins is considered a "Shuffle" pattern?Any help would be appreciated. ;D
Title: Re:Phil Collins Post by: groovin on June 27, 2005, 12:17 PM I know he is playing 2&4 on snare,1&3 on bass.Does the snare have to play the accented triplet pattern in order for it to be a "Shuffle"?.
Title: Phil Collins Post by: Drumlooney on June 27, 2005, 12:30 PM I haven't heard the song in forever, but if I recall he is doing a type of shuffle, I think he's doing triples on the hats and ride.
I'll have to hear it again. Title: Re:Phil Collins Post by: Joe on June 27, 2005, 01:15 PM It's a textbook shuffle. Nice song, too; I do like Phill Collins.
Those are fine strings, too. Sheesh, now I have to go dig it out again. ;D Title: Re:Phil Collins Post by: Drumlooney on June 27, 2005, 01:26 PM Title: Re:Phil Collins Post by: groovin on June 27, 2005, 05:29 PM Thanx for the response guys.I had just happen to put that cd in to play along with and wasnt sure if that was a shuffle.I am a big Phil Collins fan and is to this day one the very best concerts that I have ever attended."92.
