Title: Victor Wooten Drummer Post by: mc77 on September 25, 2006, 10:52 AM Vistor Wooten is out doing a tour. Does anybody know his line up on this tour beside is brother Reggie?

Just checked his website. He must be a bass players favorite c/o who he has supported. Victor Wooten is coming to my area at the end of October. Looking forward to the show & seeing some new faces.

When I saw him, he used a single pedal and was smokin'. He and Victor together are definately worth seeing. Derico is a good human being too, nice guy.

Go see them if you get the chance. Derico is an amazing drummer and one of the fastest single bass drum players I've seen. Besides being a great drummer, he is an awesome human being and one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

He is fun to watch,love it when he acts like he is going to crash,stops for a millisecond, then back into his groove. I asked about his bass drum tecnique. He said quite simply that he just stays relaxed. Must be a fast twitcher. See this guy if you can, he is very inspiring. |
