Never know who lives where really, but here goes: Having a fundraiser this Sunday January13th at the Cathay pearl restaurant in Swansea MA. Local band Witzend and former singer Trish will be providing music and fun. This show is to help my son raise funds for his Student Ambassador people to people trip to Europe. He was chosen as an ambassador late last year. Donations welcome. Brief background on P to P: The People to People Organization was created by President Eisenhower in 1956. It's purpose is to send young Americans across international borders and return home with a greater sense of what it means to be a good neighbor and global citizen. Walt Disney created the "It's a Small World" attraction in 1964 after his participation in the People to People international White House conference. You can also visit their website. Thank you |
