Shameless plug for a couple cd release shows coming up on Monday, March 24th in Montreal at Espace Dell'Arte and Wednesday, March 26th at Lula Lounge The group is called Pacifika - http://www.myspace.com/pacifika (http://www.myspace.com/pacifika), the music can be described as "latin-alternative", but then who really knows anymore - the world continually gets smaller and smaller... I've concocted a fun little 'hybrid' set-up, integrating hand percussion with regular drum set. I try to invoke a bit of Shiva, cause I could use the extra arms... Hope to meet some new drummer/percussionist friends wanting to check out the show! elliot |
