Crisp-Tight and Dry..lotsa R&B and Funk..sound is incredible gonna throw on J1 batter and 300hazy on snare side. Anybody recomend great snares that would be cool! Hes been Yammin since I can remember..... wwwaaaaay back in the Letterman days. I was unaware that he even played Ludwigs or endorsed them?. Boomerweps Title: Re: New Steve Jordan Snare!! If you haven't seen Steve Jordan's DVD, you should -- he absolutely CRANKS that drum and it sounds amazing. (But really, most everything he plays sounds great.) Title: Re: New Steve Jordan Snare!! Post by: Chris Whitten on May 03, 2008, 09:41 PM Hes been Yammin since I can remember..... wwwaaaaay back in the Letterman days. Yes, he's a Yammy man. But he can be seen playing the odd other kit, or snare, or cymbal. I think he briefly plays an old Luddy on his DVD 'The Groove Is Here'. Title: Re: New Steve Jordan Snare!! Post by: riot2003 on May 05, 2008, 09:32 AM what snares are you currently using? I'm playing around lately with BIG snare sets, hard to find for my 13" though.

Title: Re: New Steve Jordan Snare!! Post by: riot2003 on May 06, 2008, 01:11 AM I'm trying to find something larger than a 16 for the 13" snares but having a little trouble. I know there are some previous threads about this with little closure. I think pro sounds makes a 20 strand, I'm picking one up soon; I'll let you know how it goes.
