Title: Yes - too close to the edge and back tour Post by: gatorsnot on May 05, 2008, 10:52 PM This is something I'd like to see. Sounds like their focus will be the 70's classic stuff.
The lineup for this tour is: Jon Anderson Chris Squire Steve Howe Alan White Oliver Wakeman http://www.yesworld.com/ (http://www.yesworld.com/) Title: Re: Yes - too close to the edge and back tour Post by: smoggrocks on May 06, 2008, 09:06 AM ahh, i didn't know they would get so 'close to' the original lineup--those guys always seem to be squabbling about something.
in a related story, alan white has started a supergroup of sorts called Circa. i forget exactly who is in it, but it's supposed to be another foray into prog. i think they even got roger dean to design their logo. :P they just played at bb kings here last night, but i wasn't able to attend. a shame, coz i think alan is an awesome drummer/musician. i just might have to get a ticket for this 'throwback' tour. especially if they do 'close to the edge'. probably one of my favorite yes albums! I've seen YES a few times and they are worth seeing for sure. If you get the chance,,,,go! (And I didn't know about the Katowice one last year, which is just 300 kilometres from where I live...) |
