my teacher is really cool. he originally taught me guitar, two years ago he started teaching me drumset. then when i got my djembe he worked with me on that. he's an incredibly flexible teacher and knows alot of instruments. i play all the time now. i found that playing in my old treehouse, pretty much a big wooden box attached to a tree and two stilts, is quite an experience. the bass notes travel through the drum into the floor and the entire treehouse makes the note.
