Title: "Crosstraining" book
Post by: moosetication on January 21, 2004, 07:29 AM
It's not often these days that you see a rave review for a book, but this one just got exactly that from Mike Dolbear. Looks like it might be worth further investigation:

The concept is basically what I do ... and I demonstrate in my Guaguanco grooves in the VIP Lounge; for drumset and percussion.

Does look like a nice book. Wish I had thought to market my ideas!  ;)

Yeah Bart!! I'll be going back to your Guaguanco stuff for a while. You've definitely got the groove and ear for what goes together!

The really cool conga percussion on the Christmas CD didn't go unnoticed either!!  ;)

As time here passes, I become more aware of Bart's abilities, and I'm not sure how many on the board are aware of just how high caliber are this guy's chops, and repertoire...  :-\
