Title: dw double pedals Post by: silentbob on August 07, 2002, 11:22 AM does any one know anything about the DW 4002 double pedal
because i'm was looking to get a double pedal Title: Re:dw double pedals Post by: felix on August 07, 2002, 12:42 PM They are ok...I've had two sets of the 5000 series. The guy who owns the drumshop is getting in some of the special edition titanium ddubs as well;
have to check those puppies out, but my next double pedal is an Air Logic and then I want two sonor giant steps twin effects pedals to go with it. Title: Re:dw double pedals Post by: Tony on August 08, 2002, 06:55 AM In my opinion, DW makes the best hardware, pedals and drums. I've both their single and double pedals for years. DW doesn't have a 4000 series, so I can only assume you mean the 5002 double pedal. I personally think this is the best pedal on the market. I used the original 5002 from 1987 until Y2K, with very little problems. This included several tours around the country and a heavy playing schedule thoughout college. In Y2K, I bought a new DW kit and "downgraded" to a 5000 single pedal. After 2 years of this, I went out and bought another 5002, because I missed the DB action :) If budget is a concern, try the 7000 series, they are pretty good and affordable. Just my thought...........
