Well, it's not shameless promotion of anything I'm doing Smiley  -  but I can't help writing about my amazing daughter.

Tomorrow, I'm going to Madison Square Garden - to see the first pro dance gig of my 18 year old daughter.  She got selected in August to join a National Touring Company of - the DoodleBops Live.  Smiley  They were on NBC's Today show yesterday morning, and tomorrow, they open at MSG.  I'm very excited.

If my Hannah Ford shirt does not arrive by tomorrow, I will probably wear my DC shirt.  If I do, I'll try to get a pic taken of me in the shirt - with the DoodleBops.   Smiley

For some reason the Doodlebops really annoy me, but my kids love em! And it's music related so I can't complain. That's cool your daughter got into that. I will have to check their tour schedule to see if they will hit NO. We may need to bring the kiddos.

Frank,
That's awesome.  My kids love them as well.  I'll have to tell them in the morning.

Thanks for the post, Jennifer.

I just got back - that was probably the most gratifying day of my entire life.

Too tired to write, but, it was an amazing day.  I'm so proud of my daughter.

These are poor phone pics, but I don't know when I'll get my hands on the better camera pics.

My daughter gave us an experience last night we'll never forget.  I don't think she'll be able to comprehend how proud we are of her.

And, while the resolution is poor, that's me in my official DC T.   Smiley

That's real cool, man.  My daughter was born 2 days ago, so my new quest in life is to get her to play drums as soon as she's able.  I saw in the store the other day, some of those electronic sticks that make drum sounds when you hit them on something, I said....Dude....we gotta get some of those!

Congrats, mine was born 32 years ago. She has yet to play my drums.   Roll Eyes   But she knows how to help carry band gear. She married a soundman.   Grin   Your time will now go bye-bye. Tomorrow isn't another day, it's another year!   Shocked   Enjoy her while you can.   Cool

Well, my now 19 year old daughter completed her tour yesterday.

I'm psyched to be picking her up at the airport in a few hours.

She did it!  And, I'm hearing they're going to do a Summer Tour - weekends only.
Now That's  a gig.  Smiley

Looking forward to hanging out with her.  Hopefully, she feels the same way and gives us a bit of her time before getting lost in the sea of friends she needs to catch up with.

 Cool
