i have had this snare for 5 years and its gotten to be crap (it was my old middle school concert snare) it sounds way to boxy so i took of every resemblece of a snare and i took the bottom head off and turned it into a timbale its got a decent sound to it

so my question is what do u guys do with old drums??

Old bass drums make nice coffee tables.

I have a bodhran and a set of bongos mounted on my living-room wall. The bodhran is still playable, it just looks really good up there.
