I think my ride is to close to my kit, I just noticed that my sholder hurts, and I think its from my ride....

Never put a drum kit in a courner of a room, makes moving stuff around very tricky...unless your on a drum rug, and than its fine to be in a corner

And for the lazy drummer (me) it makes it extra hard.

Fool around with many different locations and settings for your ride. Get it set for you......If you notice pain from something set wrong then change it. For many years I had my ride set a certain way. Then I crashed on a dirt bike and wrecked my shoulder. After that I never regained the same power out of that arm. But after I changed my angles and settings for all my cymbals it not only helped that shoulder but my playing also. It took time, but was well worth the effort.    Wink
