The article isn't specific about what type of cancer he has, but from what they do say in the article, I would guess it was what I had. Squamis Cell Carcinoma. I had it in my right tonsil. Could be real bad if left untreated, but apparently he caught it very early. My late friend Carl Perkins had the same. We were both treated by the same doctor with radiation therapy. It's very treatable now days and in November I will have passed the 5 year mark. That's considered "cured" if there's no recurrence. Charlie should be fine and my thoughts and prayers to him.
