Pre-Gig Double Pedal Warmup?

Hey,
I'm in a band that's getting ready to play gigs very soon. Our style is like Slipknot and Mudvayne, so I play with a strong emphasis on fast and accurate double pedal playing. Before I practice, I usually have to warm up my legs anywhere between 2-10 minutes. However, I'm not sure how this will work before a gig. It's not like I can say 'time out' right before we play just to pump out some nice doubles to get my legs going. Does anyone have any suggestions or techniques that they use or know of that might help me?

if you have the time before a gig, before you even pack for a gig, or however you do it, take a run, maybe 10-15 minutes if you can. it loosens up your legs and your lungs so well its amazing. ive been trying to get in the habit also lately, its just finding the time.
another thing I do right before we play is stand straight up and do leg lifts where you just lift your body off the ground so you are standing on your toes, loosens the muscles a bit and relieves some tension.
hope that helps!

Grab a chair and the double pedal, and if you can sit it up against a wall in a locker room or something, play some rudiments, then attach it to your kit, might work??

I stretch all the tendons and muscles I can until I get a tingly feeling. I also run, but only on the ball of my foot. Anything to get the blood flowing.
