Hi, PM,

I just realized I never got back to you after you IM'd me to mention these photos (bookmarked the e-mail notification and everything, and it just fell thru the cracks - apologies.)

Good looking stuff!  I've always had the image in my mind of "stacking" a small XS over my main one, just like keyboard players do, just to have more sounds "right there" - altho I haven't yet come up with a gig where I'd need to do that.  I'd also be very curious - have to ask Will Wernick - if he could make a XS with the same material he uses for his "perc pads," so I could set up one of these smaller controllers on a drum set and play 'em with sticks, a la Peart and his Kat.

Did Will tell you what kind of wood is used on the second one, with the lighter "blonde" keys?
