Hey Mudlark, just a quick question.....how many birds do you have?
11 cockatiels - they're all really sweet birds.  My recommendation for anyone who wants a bird.

1 sun conure - noisy as heck.  Seriously beautiful.  Very sweet (to me, she HATES my wife)

1 African Grey - Our pride and joy.  You can't understand how intelligent and cognitive they are until you're around them.

They add a lot of fun to things when you're going to be moving.  Riding in the car for 15 hours with chirping cockatiels and a screaming conure is a true test of patience.  The Grey is actually very quiet.

That's great man. I had a parakeet and after about 4 years she died from a respatory illness.  Cry very sad but, I guess pet store birds often have those kinds of problems, she was a great bird.

Some more cool stuff I've been playing to lately

Roxanne - The Police
Some stuff from the Carribean Jazz project.

Althogh I have many favorites, I always come back to GFRR.  Grand Funk Railroad.  Footstompin' Music is a fun tune, same with closer to home/i'm your captain.

Others favorites would include zepplin, rush, yes, system of a down, boston, etc etc etc...

I have been doing allot of shuffles lately. Not sure why, maybe because it feels good to play?
Mostly what I consider the big 3
Babylon Sisters, Rosanna and Fool in the Rain.

If you can find a copy of "Tribute to Jeff (Porcaro)" I would highly recommend it.  Lot's of monster drummers and different styles.  Bernard Purdie (???last name spelling, correct me if I'm wrong) plays on one of the tracks and he just nails this shuffle pattern, deeeeep pocket.  It's a good recording to practice with.
