Hey, I'm curious if anyone knows where I can find a drum riser for a 16" bass drum. Gibralter makes one but it only fits 18" and 20" drums.  I am turning an old Slingerland floor tom into a bass drum and can't seem to find a riser anywhere.

Danmar makes a riser that fits 16-20" drums that are 14-18" deep.  I'm using one on a 16x16 drum now.

I got mine at Drum Supply House, www.drummaker.com.

I bought this Ludwig one, but I have a 18" bass drum. It says it's for 16" and 18" bass drums. Not sure if it would work for your floor tom or not.

I actually bought and use this one. It works fine.

It's not quite as hardware heavy as the DW cradle but the Danmar works with my 14 x 16 Yamaha tom.

You can make one very easily.Adamsdad ( fellow cafe user ) made one and sent me the plans for how to do so.Unfortunatly I just re-did my computer here so the plans were not saved. It is rather easy to do though.Send him a PM and get the schematics for it and go nuts.
