With various Internet radio stations, music oriented websites, CD Baby,  Taxi, video games, Satellite radio, Cable radio etc. it seems that today there are a greater number of places than ever for independent artists to have their music heard (and bought). Ive been listening to a lot of these avenues lately. Aside from the normal signed acts, there are a number of unsigned, small artists and DJs who are getting heard across these media.

I have heard some material from DC members on the "Lets Hear You Play " post and Ive played with a number of artists where the material is certainly on par with what is currently being played these outlets.

My question is how does one get their material in front of the right people at Sirius or a similar place? Over the years Ive been through the roller coaster ride of the usual big record company way of doing things, but I was wondering if these alternative sites are any easier to crack?
