Hey all, I'm auditioning for a music program this summer(link- http://www.artworkscincinnati.com) and for the audition I need to play a snare drum solo and a two-mallet solo.  I'm fine on a snare drum solo, but I have minimal experience with mallets, so if ayone has any suggestions at all, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Probably anything from the Morris Goldenberg book would work.  It's a classic!

I know you said you are set with a snare solo, but I thought I would throw this at you.
How about a pipe band score? I am partial to this music as I have been playing this style for many years now. I can send you an adobe file of a piece that is very challenging and uses about all the rudiments. Let me know and I can send it.

Try any of Bach's solo violin repertoire...
