Samson 7Kit

Looking for opinions on the Samson 7Kit... I just found a really good deal on a brand new kit. This would be my first mic kit for the drums, and I will be using them in a home recording studio I am building up piece by piece (computer based).

Functional, but not great.

Makes more sense to me to buy fewer better mics.
