Ok, in the previous life I used Remo roto toms. Now as I set and stare at my little 5 piece I think a set of 3 might be handy to have again. But now I see at least three manufacturers of roto's. Any feeling on the quality of any given manufacturer roto tom's you own or know about. I've seen GP's, Remo of course, and one tha started with an M I can't think of right now. Pricing, on all but Remo, seems competitive. But I would hate to by a set that aren't going to last for long.

If I'm not mistaken, the only true difference bewteen the Remo model and the others is:

Remo makes the chrome ones, and offers sizes in additon to the 6,8,10 packs.

I too have been looking at a set of rotos to add to my Peavey kit. Unlike other drums, the radial pros are hard to match, so I thought "if they're going to look different that the rest of the kit, they may as well be different!" I'd like to have a 10" tom for sure. I'm not real sure I'd be on the 6" & 8" much, but it would be neat to have any way!
