I have been taking lessons and playing/practicing congas for a couple years.  I love it.  I am not good yet, but working on it.  My problem is finding others in central Florida area to play with.  I am looking for an ensemble, band or anyone interested in practicing or performing regularly.  Any ideas on how to connect with others.  I go to drum circles, but mainly practice at home alot right now.  Looking to  contribute in world or latin music group.  I am a gringo.  Though my knowledge is limited about what is out there  I am guessing that I am not good enough to participate in paid gigs at this point.  Not interested in doing it for pay right now anyway.  Just seriously enjoy it recreationally.
