i like the zildjian azuka 18" crash, but you've gotta get a nice glancing hit on it.  i just tried a wuhan 16" thin crash this weekend, which i dug as well.  basically, any cymbal that speaks superquickly, has a high-enough pitch that it won't be kllled by a strike by the fingers, and doens't have the darkness of a lot of thin cymbals.

they're tough to find.

I think you guys might be interested in checking out Sabian's AAX El Sabor Picante Hand Crash. It was recently introduced at this year NAMM show.
