For the following thread. I just picked up "Future Sounds" and "The Musician's Guide to Polyrythms". They're right up my alley. I want to become a good jazz/fusion player, and I really think these books will help me, on my way.

You know, just for what I learned about making my snare drum sound good, this Cafe was worth the price of admission.

I have been working through "Future Sounds" for about a month now and it has really helped my dynamic playing ability. The first few chapters where you learn to play at two dynamic levels during a groove are extremely valuable. My grooves sound much more polished now.

Good luck with those. I've got to find that Polyrythm book.
