Nice Drums set. What kind of equipment are you playing? And, it kind of looked like a custom paint job too? My knees hurt just watching your singer. Nutty

I am sorry, but while its obvious you have skill, my ears did not enjoy the tones of your drums. It was hard to point out the cool grooves vs the random noise.

Hey Felix, I E-mailed you a sample of something I put together last Thursday. Don't think it is ready for a web site yet but I thought I would share it with a few of you to get some feedback. I don't have my web site ready yet so I don't have a way to provide a link to anything yet. This formate is about 3 meg and it is about 3min and 48 seconds long. Nutty

OMG!!! We just got broadband!! OMG! >sorry< I'm about peeing my pants being able to see everyone's kit and hearing everyone play! Wow! I guarantee we had slower dial-up than anyone else on this board, and now I can actually download stuff--and it takes seconds! *whew* Christopher, your rendition of "Landslide" was really nice--a big improvement, I think on FM's drumless original. And Leedy, you're right--your kit sounds phenomenal, esp. the toms. I really liked your little "snippet." Thanks everyone for sharing! I'm in cyber-heaven! robyn

I had to do a little arm-twisting to get Mrs. DaveFromChicago to go along with my plan to take over the world switch to DSL & wireless. Now that we're there she gives me grief for not making the switch sooner than I did. You really do get more out of this forum with the high speed connections.

I've been wanting to reply to this post for ages. My band The Brent Flood is from Ireland and we're now based in London. We play a kind of guitar based indie rock and we've just recorded a demo this week and here are two of the tracks: http://www.thebrentflood.co.uk/The_Brent_Flood_-_A_Jolly_Good_Rant.mp3http://www.thebrentflood.co.uk/The_Brent_Flood_-_Jethros_Baby.mp3I've been playing for a few years but only started to take my drumming seriously round about last summer. I think it's a little bit scrappy but I think it's the first time we've gelled on a recording as a band. I'd love to know what anyone thinks! Thanks, Chris

this is from a show we did in early december, recorded by taking a line out from the soundboard into my iRiver, so please forgive the clipping. singers mic went out toward the last part of the last chorus too, but hey we're to listen to drums, right? i was pretty happy with how the toms on my new Gretsch Catalina Birch kit after fitting them with Evans EC2 on the tops and G1's on the bottoms. yeah, playing quads always makes me happy Nutty. They are easy and fun. I'm all about easy and fun.
Whenever I am sad I practice quads; I just love to move lots of air- gets a nice breeze going.
