Well this is my bands website..http://www.myspace.com/enterthedarkasylum.

Bands named Dark Asylum..consists of me, my good buddies Kevin, and Ben.

It's really metal but...listen to Authoritative Dissonance.

I have a cool fill around 4:00 minutes into the song it's got an awesome phazer effect but it's hard to hear unless you got headphones on,

and if you listen close I screw up around 3:48 its a triplet pickup on the bass then a snare but I did it a beat early so i put another snare hit in there. lol

At our band's link below you can select three of our tunes to listen to. We're strictly covers.

http://www.clearblueband.com

Rubie (a la Steely Dan)
Spooky (a la Yellow Jackets)
She Caught the Katie (a la Taj Mahal)

Recorded in our bass players home studio. We'll have four or five more tracks ready soon.

Regards,

BigBill

Looks a heckuva a memorial day blow Greg.

Hi Nutty.  There is a guy in town here that sings Led Zep and plays the drums at the same time.  He's really good at it also.  I don't know how you guys do it.

Thanks Felix,
You have to just have a great love for Led Zeppelin and practice a bunch.  All of it is not doable because of Bonham's timing and sometimes Plant sang opposite the beat.  I feel like I can do a decent job of both, but together, you have to pick your songs. I have done Ramble On, Thank you,
Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker, Ten Years Gone and Rockin Roll and will try anything that a band wants to try but I am not ashamed to say it is not doable.  Robert Plant and John Bonham are hard to do right but I love it when it can be close.

Hi All
I'm in a project/band called ifbutforone and we do Christian heavy thrash with death metal vox.  We also have some melodic metal with clean vocals and a few different other styles in the catalog.  We did our upcoming cd on a computer using acidpro.  Pod for the guitar and Roland stageset with td-7 turbo module.  check it out.

Hi guys,

There's a sound sample on my site of a session I did with a Hip-Hop artist who won Best Male Performer at the 2006 MOBO Music awards. His name is Sway Dasafo, and this particular track was recorded at Madia Vale for a live performance season of Hip Hop Artists.

Here's a direct link to the page it's on. Scroll down to SWAY and the sound sample is there...

We have taken to recording our jams for the purpose of seeing what needs improved. Nothing fancy, just stick a mic in the middle of the floor and go to it!

This is a cover tune, which isn't really supposed to be posted, so I wont leave it there long. Only until we get some of our originals ready, but it gives you an idea of the stuff we play.

Hi Bart and all,

I would like to post an audio or video clip here but am sort of a computer dummy and don't know exactly how. Can I attach an mp3 file right to a post here or do I need to have music on some website to get it on here? Any help much appreciated.
