I've got a couple of gigs coming that really ought to be something.  My band is playing at a club in Clear Lake, TX (just south of Houston, home of Johnson Space Center), called Rock Neutney's.  We are hiring out a lighting and sound crew for these gigs.  The gigs are on Friday and Saturday, December 6th and 7th, starting at 10:00 pm and playing until 2:00 am.  We are rehearsing our asses off for these.  If you're going to be in or around the Houston area, I'd highly recommend the trip out.  In fact, these shows would probably be worth a special trip to Houston, if you have the resources to make it down.  If any of the Drummer Cafe folks show up at the show, I'll buy you a drink!   Smiley

I've been pretty steady with the Alan Roux Band, gigging every weekend, but here in the great notheast alot of gigs are drying up and it's always an adventure to get into new rooms. I think it is a hard road to hoe doing an all original act in a land of DJs and Karoke. If any body has any ideas, I sure would be grateful.  My schedule is such that I get very limited time on the net so just let me say that I love drummer Cafe! Thank you Bart and all you guys and gals for the tips, lessons and laughs. Happy Holidays and Happy Sticking! Now if I could just find my camera.
