Midwest church percussionist and gigging guy

« on: May 09, 2006, 02:31 PM »

Here's the kit I will be using at this friday's gig.  The band is excited about the potential for an even fatter sound.  I've used five before, so I'm just adding variation for the later songs in the set..keeps it interesting..  That's a cowbell in the lower right corner...next to it is my wood block, stick holder, shakers, cabasa, etc...depends on the set.  That stuff is on a tripod stand with some holders for easy grabbing and putting away.  Those are my "conga hard cases" (garbage cans) in the back, and the foam I pack them in.

God bless!

Playing many homemade instruments, and a Schalloch/Sonor conga/bongo set-up.  Maximum music....minimum investment.  Ask me about the Homemade chimes with the reversible front row, and the chime rack welded from an old bed frame.
