Thanks Bob, I'm sorry to hear that Tuco had problems of ringy sound with his Oak Gon Bops (They're really Sols - same drum as mine except Oak).. I guess it just doesn't translate from the beautiful woody smooth sound of the Mahogony Sols - as the sound files may demonstrate. But, no matter the conga, as they are "played in", they lose much of the ringy character.
