everyone should send email to amazon.com telling them to start carrying it.  they have no drum magazines and  drives me batty.

other than that $30 aint bad.  its less than $3 a pop.  drum magazines sell less than guitar mags.  so they cant cut the deals the guitar mags can.

I noticed that too, but I think it's too expensive. I'd bet they'd sell a LOT more if they lowered the price, and could make more money in the long run. If they brought it down to between 50 - 75 dollars, there would be a lot more people who could afford it, and it would be something you could actually ask for as a gift.  Right now, it ain't no stocking stuffer!

This is true, but at 25 years, that's 300 issues, works out to be about $1.50/issue. When you look at it like that, it's not as bad, but that would buy a new cymbal........ Undecided

I did the math too, and realize it's a great price per issue. But it's still a chunk of change for a CD. They certainly have the right to charge that much, I just think they'd sell more if it were considerably cheaper, and could maybe even make more money. I mean, how many of you are going to pay 200 bucks? I'm not. But I'd buy it in a heartbeat at 50. And I bet a lot of us would.

If you subscribe to MD, the DVD archive is $150.  Not much of a savings, but some.  The cheaper the better Smiley

The techniques, though they play an important role in the early stage, should not be too restrictive, complex or mechanical. If we cling to them, we will become bound by their limitation.  Any technique, however worthy and desirable, becomes a disease when the mind is obsessed with it.
