i was listening to the radio the other day [a rare occurence] and the dj was talking about the steely dan gigs. he was encouraging people to check it out, especially to go check out carlock. he actually went on for a while with kudos for carlock. i thought it was cool, coz you don't often hear djs talking about individual players, especially the drummer. unless they're interviewing them.

That dj must have also been a drummer.
 Keith is not only an amazing drummer, he is quite the nice guy, great sense of humor. But he keeps his toms level.
I interviewed him last year at the M.D. Drum Fest. for another site that I wont mention here.I dont ask the, what size sticks do you use type questions. I asked him if he ever locked his keys in his car,Do Walter and Dan let you ride with them,  when was the last time you had grits type stuff. He laughed and answered all.
Yes, I have my Steely Dan tickets, just waiting.
