I assume it is still Derico Watson.

Victor and Derico both live here in Nashville and have been working together for some time now.

Thank you guys. I've seen Victor with J.D. Blair but I have not heard of Derico Watson. Just checked his website. He must be a bass players favorite c/o who he has supported. Victor Wooten is coming to my area at the end of October. Looking forward to the show & seeing some new faces.

Derico Watson is a monster drummer, with an extremely fast right foot. When I saw him, he used a single pedal and was smokin'. He and Victor together are definately worth seeing. Derico is a good human being too, nice guy.

Derico is playing with Victor now (I talked to him yesterday and they are currently in Japan). Go see them if you get the chance. Derico is an amazing drummer and one of the fastest single bass drum players I've seen. Besides being a great drummer, he is an awesome human being and one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

I will be buying my tickets this weekend after payday. My music pastor & a good size group from my worship team & other friends are planning on going to the show. Should be a great night all around.

It's definitely a high energy show and I think you'll enjoy it. Get ready to see some amazing drumming and bass playing ! Hopefully you'll get the chance to talk with Derico. Where are you going to be seeing them?

Derico is a powerhouse!  His solos are some of the best I have ever seen, heard, imho.
He is fun to watch, love it when he acts like he is going to crash, stops for a millisecond, then back into his groove.
I asked about his bass drum tecnique. He said quite simply that he just stays relaxed.
Must be a fast twitcher. See this guy if you can, he is very inspiring.
