Great Quotes

"I think there's been a lot of overemphasizing of the technical thing ... you've got to feel the music and you've got to groove on the music. That's so much more important to me than chops."

The Virginia / Washington D.C. chapter of the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) will host its annual Day of Percussion on March 10th, 2007 at Flint Hill School in Oakton, Virginia.  The Virginia/D.C. chapter has a long history of successful Days of Percussion.  Last year, over 400 people attended the event, and we anticipate a similar turnout this year.

For more information, contact Marshall Maley, VA/DC PAS Chapter President at (703) 323-6831.
