Yep.  It's a Paiste Accent though, not a splash; it's very thick, sounds like a bell.  I bought it as an inside joke with the guys I was in a band with at the time, we had seen a band and the drummer had a 6" or 8" splash, and we'd see him hit it, but could never hear it, so they were like "why don't you get a tiny cymbal that has no point?"  It's actually got a pretty cool sound, and I've used a lot of times to end a song, which makes everyone laugh.

Quite a collection there nutty, do you keep them all set up at the same time?

Well, I am back again and I have been a bad boy today.  Bought something new.  I guess you either have to love them or hate them.  These babies are limited addition Tama Star Classics Birch.  I was told that they only made about 100 of these.  I was leaving MOMS music today and there were musicians asking me if we did any Hendrix.
Yes we do.  I was shopping Musicians Friends and Lexington's Guitar Center, and Max
at MOMS Music took good care of me again. My local store!!!

The Neighbors have joined us playing and grilling in the Drive way. I throw one about every 3 years here.  The police come every time and we turn down to about 95dbs and continue on.  We invite the police to come back after their shift.  You can legally make noise until 10:00 PM here.  We try to invite all the Neighbors, but I'm sure there are ones I missed so they call the police. LOL .

The lugs are a smoke color and the finish was called "Citris" something or other. I will call the store and find out for you when they open.  This was a limited addition kit.  Yes they have metal badges and so did the Star Classic kit I bought about 5 years ago. The Badge on the one I bought 5 years ago was more bronze looking.  I have already noticed some very good changes in the hardware since my kit from 5 years ago was built.  There are now locks on everthing. More reinforcement on the weight bearing hardware. I am also excited about the Free Iron Cobra Power Glide DB pedal that I get with buying any Star Classic kit 4 peices or more. That deal is good until September. I have been playing a Gibralter Intruder ll for about 11 years now.  I am very interested in comparing.  I have heard great things about the Iron Cobra, now I get to find out first hand.  I am going to use this kit to play out mostly.  You wouldn't know it but this has a wrap finish. It really took me awhile to see that and it looked as good as my Laquer finish.  I will keep my Natural Maple Finish at home mostly. They are having a Bikers for Christ weekend at church and they told me that I could bring my kit .  Which one should I use ??? That is the question???
