Hey all. I am interested in finding a source for a well made tabla setup. Anyone know of a seller and/or any good resources for tabla on the net? I am more interested in finding an authentic, hand crafted instrument (money is not an issue, within reason) than something cheap and mass produced.

Thanks,

Erik

www.indianmusicalinstruments.com

inni makes all my tablas.

US importer:  www.keshavmusic.com .  if that's not the right url, google "keshav das" and see what comes up.

much more expensive that inni's stock drums:

www.tabla.org (my guruji Samir Chatterjee's online store).

www.aacm.org (Ali Akbar college of music)

otherwise, if you're going to mumbai, look up vijay vhattkar.
