16-year-old Hannah Ford brings you the "Peace Love & Drums" show ... an hour of pure excitement!  From the moment the show opens until its close, audiences will feel the power and exhilaration of Hannah's assault on her drum kit.  For, despite her wholesome, youthful appearance, the musical maturity and show(wo)manship she brings to the stage is well beyond her years.

What is the "Peace Love and Drums" show all about?

Hannah's idea behind the "Peace Love and Drums" show is to share her experiences as a young musician and take her audience through the multifaceted world of music and drumming.

The “Peace Love & Drums” show will cover jazz, funk/fusion, rock and vocals. The show is performed live on stage with pre-recorded music tracks and can be presented in a concert format, or a clinic format that allows time for audience participation and questions. These questions might be about anything from Hannah's drumming technique to what it's like to play drums with her band, Chicago-land fan-favorite "Universal Slim and The Blues Kangaroos", to Hannah's experiences in the recording studio. Hannah likes the audience participation and questions best of all as she says, "Ya never know where it's going or what the audience is going to ask next."

Is the "Peace Love and Drums" show just for kids?

The show is for anyone who may have an interest in the world of music or percussion.  Whether amateur or professional, young or old everyone will enjoy this presentation.

Hannah's main theme is the importance of music in our world today, especially in the lives of young people.  Taking both an educational and entertaining approach, Hannah reaches out to the kids in the audience and shows them how much fun and how special music can be, the places it can take them and the long-term benefits it can bring.

Adults in the audience will see how important it is that they continue to support programs in the local schools and communities and make sure that there will always be music programs for their children to participate in.  So many programs are being eliminated due to lack of funding yet the positive effect music has on students not only from an academic standpoint but from a social standpoint, as well has been proven time and time again.
