I was just introduced to JoJo Mayer's playing recently, and I'm nuts about his live drum n' bass group Nerve, but I can't find any information about any cd releases, except that there is an album. Is this true? Where can I get it? On his website, the "soundz" section is under construction, and I can't find anything on amazon.

Yeah, he's amazing. I still couldn't find anything, so I resorted to torrents, and I found one that had the four songs they played at MD fest '05, as well as a crappy bootleg. *shrug* I don't know, it's bugging the heck out of me.

I found the same torrent. Though the bootleg isn't of highest audio quality, I find it more interesting to listen to than the MD Fest tunes. If I were playing at the Modern Drummer festival, I would most likely cater my playing (for mostly other drummers) a little differently than I would on a regular night's gig (for mostly non-drummers). That said, it's cool to listen to how Jojo reacts to the other musicians at a "normal" gig.

Besides, every 5minutes or so you hear someone in the crowd scream "yeah!", and it snaps you back into reality: they are, in fact, playing that stuff LIVE. Scary, isn't it?

I see no Nerve cd on that page linked. There is a cd titled Nerve by a group called Ulu though...
