I've been looking at Black Swamp tambourines and triangles lately. They make very nice, well-crafted instruments, IMHO.
Anybody using any of their products? Thoughts and comments?

I don't currently own any myself, but a few of my colleagues in local orchestras have either a tambourine or one or more triangles from Black Swamp, and I've always been impressed with the sound. Another has a Black Swamp snare drum, and the workmanship - and resulting sound - are outstanding. Eric Sooy knows his stuff.
I'm not in the market for any new triangles or snare drums, but I'm planning to upgrade my tambourine collection with at least one new instrument, and for me it's a choice between Black Swamp and Grover (and maybe Vaughncraft).

I bought two of their snares and one tambourine for my school. Very high quality, I've been happy with all of them.

My school owns two snares and a tambourine by them. Unfortunatly the tambourine is broken, but it sounded very nice previously. Our percussion instructor for marching band, who also runs the percussion ensemble and jazz band, also uses black swamp stuff. They come with beeswax too, which is nice.
Both snares are also great quality, but I preferred the Grover snare that we used to have...not sure what happened to that.
