I'd love to fall asleep every night looking at my drum kit! Haha.
I used to have my first kit in my bedroom, it could be dangerous though - one night I fell out of bed and mangaed to scrape my forehead on one of the tom legs. Oops! |

Not by choice, but ... my kit is in my/our bedroom. It has made for some late night laughs. I can no longer walk Around the bed to leave the bedroom. [say, after waking up and determining I have to empty my tank.  ] So, I actually have to walk on/across the bed. Late at night, while sleepy, I have had trouble keeping my balance while doing this, and it looked like I was surfing. My wife was entertained. |

I had to make the footprint on my kit as small as I could so it would fit in a small spot in the living room. I hope the wife will understand. She should be happy, it's out of our bedroom.  |

Well, I finally have some decent quality pics, so for what it's worth:  My Sonor Force 2007, blue fade. Drum sizes: 14x5.5, 10x8, 12x9, 16x16 and 22x17.5. Cymbals: Zildjian ZBT: 16" Crash, 14" Hi Hats, 20" Ride (RETIRED!  ) and 18" China Sabian Pro: 10" Splash and 16" Crash Sabian AA Metal-X 18" Crash Paiste Rude Crash/Ride 19" (not shown) Yamaha DFP9310 pedals, Rhythm Tech tambourine. All heads stock (for now) except snare top, where I alternate between a Hydraulic and the Mr. A recommended Hi-Energy.  I am constantly changing the way things are set up. For instance the 16" crash to the right was made parallel to the floor right after the shoot. Right now I'm going with the inverted toms (as I discussed in a thread) and I'm attempting to have the hi hat at 11 o' clock as in Bart's video. I have way more stuff than I should at my level but I have fun with everything. EDIT: Switched the ZBT Ride for a Paiste Rude Crash/Ride with a great sound! (for me) |

The only thing holding me up is Dell. As soon as my laptop arrives I'll be recording a bunch of new songs and putting them up on my my space page. Right now I just have a few songs that were recorded using my DTXTREME ll kit. The difference between the DTX ll & lll is night and day.I'll post a link when I get them up. |

  I am absolutely in love with this snare. I just picked it up for a great price. It's a custom made 14 x 7 snare drum using a Global Drum Co. segmented shell of Tiger Maple and Purple Heart Wood. Brass Hoops and Lugs. This snare definitely looks as good as it sounds. I am a proud Pa Pa |

ok boys & girl, we set up the big bubba's a few days ago and I have been enjoying them just sooooooooooo much. Yes they are in my mom's laundry room (no where else to put them) heeeeeeeeeeee it's 1983 all over with 2008 chops. YO! feed the big kitty.   |
