One of my students asked me about these drums. I hadn't heard of them , so I went to the web site. What they say sounds pretty good, but I was wondering if any of you quite experienced, professional, modest types had any first-hand knowledge of the product?

Can't say that I ever heard of them. Although I would like to knoe something about them. I you have a site to check I would be greatful for the information. I also knew very little about Sunlite drums until last week when I walked into a mucis store about thiray miles south of us,first time ever, and met the owner who grew up a little north of where I live and opened that store in 1974. I was looking for sticks and walked out with a snare stnad and a new hi-hat made by Sunlite and looking back at a couple of Sunlite snares. Mite go back for one. You learn something new when your just looking around.

The site address is www.truthdrums.com. As I say, I don't know anything other than what info is there. I think my student was interested in buying a set from them, and I was hoping to give him some guidance.

FWIW....Checked out the site...and I would have to say that they seem really expensive for something I have never heard of. Just my .02 but OCDP and Spaun are two custom companies that I have first hand experience on, and their products are phenominal for a little less money.

Truth drums is a BIG DEAL in the underground music scene. They make a great instrument and are endorsed by some GREAT bands. I will shortly be submitting my own press kit to them for sponsorship. patrick doctor!doctor!

Truth was the darling custom drum company in 2006-2007, right now it's SJC. I also build custom drums using all the same material as Truth and SJC.
