I was in the music store last night and saw this new 3 dvd set. It went back to 1970. Anyone seen this and is Chris shown on any of the footage?. Chris, Abe Laboriel Jr. etc. Should be a cool set to pick up.

It's a really nice compilation and yes, Chris is in there.

Maybe best of all is the running commentary by Paul thorugh most (all?) of the videos and concert. Paul's a little dry at times, but there's a genuine nostalgia and emotion that comes through when he talks about specific scenes. Sometimes he sings along a little, and you can hear a tear in his eye. It's very touching.

He also remarks about Bonham coming to their shows because he enjoyed Joe English's playing!

Definitely a must-have even for a casual McCartney fan. Ringo is also seen here and there, including doubling with Steve Gadd on "Take It Away". Smiley

I spent a period of time with British musicians. I can still hear the way they speak even when I read things on the internet. They have a very distinct way of talking. Their way of speaking still sticks in my mind.   Cool

McCartney has so many cool drummers on his recordings (Chris Whitten of course being one of 'em).  One of the best is McCartney himself!

Does anyone know if it's him drumming on the song "Arrow Through Me?"

Pretty sure that was Steve Holly since it came from the 'Back To The Egg' sessions (great album).
