Dave,
Maybe your sleeping in, but let's us know how the gig went.
This must be very new club, I used to be on the south loop alot but i don't remember Reggies.
Actually, I was up at 4am to take my dad in for cancer-related tests. So, I'm ready to sleep in now.

Reggie's is easy to miss if you're cruising on State Street. It's just north of Cermak on the east side of the street.
I've played there a few times. It looks like a dive from the outside - ok, it IS a dive from the outside - but it's nicer inside. Old brick, heavy benches and tables with old LP labels laminated onto the table tops. Music-themed photos and posters on the walls, decent stage, good sound system. The guy running the board knew his stuff (we've learned that sound guys seem to get smarter and/or more pleasant if you tip them before you start).
We had a nice sized and enthusiastic crowd - they kept the wait staff hopping all through the evening. The menus are actual 33 1/3 LPs. You pull the album out of the jacket and the menu is printed on the paper sleeve. The beer list (70+ beers) is printed on both sides of plain white 45 sleeves. All in all a good gig. The band was tight (if I do say so myself) and well-received. We'll be back there in April for a private event.
PS - if you wander in, try the turkey BLT with a side of baked beans. My standard order there. Yum.
