SWPS was founded in 1994 to produce the annual World Rhythm Festival, and to generally promote education and participation in world music drumming and dancing activities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

SWPS is an all-volunteer community-based organization. The success of our activities and the extent of the services we can offer arise directly from the amount of participation offered by you and other drum and dance enthusiasts.
