As some of you know, I'm a freak for compact and short stack kits.

At the last NAMM, Pearl announced resuming production on a next generation of
Rhythm Travellers.

I haven't seen them up close and personal.  I thought I'd set up the thread
in case anyone gets them or sees them in a store and wants to comment.

I hit one last week.  I did not sound as bad as I thought it might.  With so many other drums in the store I think the sound might have been bigger than it actually is.  But IIRC the drum did not feel mushy.  But like I said I hit one tom tom on the thing once.

So that's good for Pearl.

There you go, folks.  Coming from Felix-mon, considering we're talking about
shorty drums, this is a resounding endorsement.

Are you talking about the Rhythm Traveler Gig kit? I don't think they've been  available in the States before. I just placed an order for one the other day (for practice with mesh heads), so if there's yet another one coming, I hope I still made the right choice
