Did D.W. remember my letter of approximately 8 or more! years ago concerning my request for a 23'' bass drum?. I had explained my theories behind this drum and my willingness to pay for its birth. Remo had written me stating that I would have to order set amount of 23'' heads befor they would produce them. The response I received from D.W. at that time was that the extra inch would not be enough of a difference in sound to justify the making of such a drum.

I would have to scour every square inch of carpet in my home to locate this letter if it in fact it is still around?Huh. NOW on page 13 Neil Peart and John Good have had this drum already made. Will it be in production? ill have to wait until the next issue to find out. I had not only written DW, id written other boutique manufacturers concerning its possibility. I guess its now the brain child of John and Neil. Dam it.
