An excerpt from the video explanation.......
'In my video i had a total of 3 microphones (you can see one, the other 2 are inside the cardboard boxes). Each microphone is plugged into an input on my audio interface, and 3 audio tracks in sonar are each configured to get their input from a microphone. One of the tracks has an instance of drumagog set up to sound like a BASS DRUM. One of the tracks has an instance of drumagog set up to sound like a SNARE DRUM, and the other track has an instance of drumagog set up to sound like a HI HAT.'

Hope whoever is playing that doesn't claim to be a drummer.

I think it's cool.

My favorite part is watching him tap the HiHat trigger (ie. microphone). Come on man, smack that thing, you know you want to ... every rock drummer has to overplay the HiHat.

I guess amoacristo is right ... he's not a real drummer.  Roll Eyes

Considering he was tapping a mic and cardboard and wasn't actually playing anything specific, I personally think he's probably not a bad drummer. Especially compared to me.

Hmm, criticisms.  Undecided

The point I got from it was the low cost method of drum triggering.
Have you seen the price of e-kits?
Around here they are $5000 to $8000!

Agreed ... which was the point I got from it. I think it's creative and fun; it's not about the playing or how practical the set-up is for your next club gig.

Sorry. I got that point also, just said something in response to Felix. It was creative and interesting as far as the set up, sounds, and cost are concerned.
